About Counselling
Working in the present, we will look at how you are currently affected by the past. People can often feel blocked, repeating patterns of behaviour, which after a time can prevent us from growing and leading full, healthy lives. Exploring and working through challenges in a supportive environment can be extremely healing, providing the opportunity for a new and different experience.

My Approach
I am a Gestalt psychotherapist which means I work within a Humanistic framework. As a Gestaltist I believe that everyone has the capability within them to face their difficulties, however at times people become stuck in fixed patterns and need some assistance to see the situation more clearly, explore their part in it and experiment with finding new and more creative ways of being. We will work together in the here and now situation, rather than the there and then or what 'should' have been, and explore how these patterns are still active and affecting life in the present.
